We’re evolving into an online only model.
My vision for The Nookie has always been about reducing pleasure stigma for women. Physical retail was the right vehicle for that when we opened in 2017. But with retail-wide staffing challenges, changes in consumer behaviour, and ongoing issues with sketchy landlords, the physical shop is holding me back.
This is not goodbye. I’m closing our Yorkville location to focus on building our online presence, expanding my sex education and media appearances, and increasing community outreach.
Our last day for in-store shopping will be on or before May 21. For now, we’re hoping you’ll help us clear some inventory before we go. Moving sale starts now at 30% off in-store and online. Discount will be automatic at check out.
